Has anyone tried the AI Clear - New Noise Reduction Tool by Topaz? What is your experience? Does it work with LR or PS? I have no intention of purchasing Topaz Studio.

I’ve used it some and find it does an excellent job and is also very easy to use.

I am a long time user of Topaz Denoise, I like the quality I can get from Denoise, but I also recently bought DXO photolab 11, and the noise reduction built into it is very good if not better then Denoise. There are two options in DXO, standard noise reduction and prime noise reduction which occurs on export. Definitely does a good job.

What's the point of the question then? Yes it works and it works very well. Sorry you will never experience it.

Topaz no longer sells individual products. All are down loaded to the Studio which is free. To use it you must open in studio. You can use other filters to start, then open it in Studio and use the noise reduction. Since I bought some Topaz before Studio, I can use the individuals like before. But not the new ones, Studio only.

FWIW... TERRIBLE image... terrible lighting and noise.... but serves a purpose.... using AI Clear and Topaz Denoise 6.... I get more noise reduction with Denoise 6. DXO sample done on original JPG - only standard NR can be done on a JPG, raw can have additional NR done using prime setting. Original noisy JPG at bottom.

This seems to call for dehaze at least as much as denoise...

Oh it needs a heck of a lot...but the point being made was simply comparing the NR difference in using AI Clear, Denoise 6 and DXO.

AI clear, just does not seem to beat Denoise for me. And DXO PRIME actually does as good or better than Denoise on a raw.
