Sorry, I have never purchased anything from KEH, although I have viewed some asking prices and to me, they were overpriced, but I do like the KEH site for information reasons.

KEH has fair selling prices. And for a long time they had fair buying prices as well, they used to pay exactly 60% of market value for gear. But since MPB started buying and selling in the USA, KEH has dropped their "buy" percentage to about 30%, and often less than that.

I have both bought from them and sold/traded with them. My experience has always been positive.

I have bought several items from them (Lens, cameras, light meters) and have always been pleased. The majority of my purchases were in better condition than advertised, in my opinion.

I purchase items from KEH and so far have always been happy. I had to return one and the process was easy and without problems.

First class outfit. To echo GoofyNewfie above, what KEH rates as 'good,' many others rate as 'excellent.' Prices are fair unless they're compared to 'good luck with that gear' eBay prices; then they might seem a little high.

I have bought several out of production lenses from KEH and have never been disappointed.

Bought several items from them and never have been disappointed. Condition always better than described. The closest I ever had to a problem was when FedEx failed to actually read the address (the label was correct). Great to deal with!

My buying experience has been positive. Trade-in evaluations has gotten very slow. I agree with MT Shooter above that the “buy” pricing they have recently offered was rediculously low. I’ll look elsewhere on my next trade / purchase

I've bought a number of used items from KEH over the years. Good, reliable and their condition ratings are conservative.
Keep in mind that you get a warranty even with most of their used gear (typically 90 days, if memory serves). Same with the used dept. at Adorama and B&H.
Gear they sell is professionally inspected, cleaned, adjusted or repaired if needed.
You might find things cheaper from Craigslist, eBay, local private party sellers... but your warranty in those cases is usually "30 seconds or 30 feet, whichever comes first"!

Unless its changed in the last few weeks most items are a 6 month warranty, well maybe not the "as is" stuff.
