Yeah, that’s nuts. I’m shooting a AAA team so I guess they are more relaxed. How did you manage to get your lens in?

I said that I took it off before I tried to bring it and compared the size. I also had to drink my Diet Dr. Pepper before I could go through the gates because it was in an aluminum can...and guess what the $9 Budweiser's they were selling were in....There is a AA or AAA club about 1/2 the distance down the road, and their prices are quite a bit more affordable, but I hadn't been to a pro game in 2 or 3 yrs, it was my birthday, and they were playing my home town team (the Cubbies) who won something like 12-5 :) I took the train to the stadium from IL so it wasn't like I could take the camera to my car before the game.

It doesn't have a big swing arm. It's similar to a tilt head in a Gimbal Style.

I just checked the rules for the Phillies, because that’s home and I’ll be going to a game while visiting my brother. No monopods allowed, so although I could get my 200-500 in, I'll have to get a lot better at handholding it or I’ll stick to the 70-300.
