Canon DPP - Learned something new about it today

Thanks to a post by CHG_CANON, I decided to look at JPEGs from my phone in DPP for the information about the shot.
I normally only use DPP for editing the RAW files, but his post prompted me to go look at the "INFO" on JPEG images from my phone. I never had a need to look at the shot info window. Low and behold, since I have it turned on in the phone, the Lat-Lon information pops right up in the info window. Cool, I didn't know DPP would do that! Yet another way to grab the location info other than looking at file properties in Windows Explorer.
Since I shoot so much on so many trails and places in Acadia and Mount Desert Island in Maine, I'm definitely going to take a phone shot at each stop. (Sometimes, if the location is not obvious, I can not remember which series of shots were where.) Like "What road was that beaver lodge on?" The next camera will have GPS capability.

Doesn't Lightroom do this... with the added benefit of opening a Google map? Or am I missing something?

This is a good idea in any event... at least, until cameras automatically change time when crossing time zones.

Maybe.....
I don't use Lightroom.
I was just surprised that the info was readily available in DPP. Never had the need to look.
