If you search the net for Picasa, you’ll find its downloadable on any number of sites. It works as well as it ever did.

If you just load the pictures into a Windows folder. Picasa will find them an put them in Picasa folder.

Adobe does that too. Only it labels as Adobe and it will do RAW too.

Honestly, in our modern world, there are all kinds of occasions when sending something {not just a picture} as an email attachment is necessary. You need to know how to do that .... and then sending pictures without Picasa will be simple also.

In Adobe you can reduce the file size by re-sizing the shot. Not automatic as it may have been for you but easy to learn it. I do it when I need to e-mail as my e-mail will not do full size shots. Just reduce the shot to 50 to 100 pixels keeping the same length and width.

You might want to try "PicMonkey". It's not complicated like some pro applications, I.E. Adobe, etc., and won't break the bank.

I don't understand. If Google no longer supports Picasa how could they remove features. My Picasa still has all of its features. I just sent a picture from Picasa using both road runner and gmail. Both worked fine.
