Very nice and so blessed to see one. Sadly, Illinois had their second Bobcat season which took the lives of 318 of these lovely creatures.

A few years ago, after taking up wildlife photography, my first opportunity to get a wild bobcat was in my yard. One morning, I saw one prowling around my yard I garbed the camera and tried to find a spot where the windows were not wet with water condensation, my pics were little more than a proof documentation. Not so much the second time, this time I was able to open the window an even in the rain and low light I was able to get a pretty good shot. I feel vindicated!!! For those who want to Know in SE CT.with Canon 7d MII 100 to 400 ...

Terrific shot of an elusive cat. Make me want to reach out and pet him (but that would be a good way to loose a few fingers). belongs on your wall.

Are you saying that people hunt bobcats? I hope not.
