Quick survey: What Photo Editing Software Do You Use?

I just bought Luminar-Jupiter and it looks very interesting. The how to video n landscape editing was highly interesting and I am looking forward to having time to really dive in after the semester is over. There will be plenty of time as I have tendon repair surgery soon and will be out of circulation for a month. Good time to really study and experiment with the new program.

I use a Lightroom to Photoshop (when needed) workflow.

For 95% of my editing I use Lightroom. Only for deletion of unwanted elements and similar stuff I use Photoshop. If I just want to look at pictures, I use ACDSee

Photoshop Elements (14); I like Adobe Camera Raw, where I do the bulk of my editing.

um Gimp is you chooe how much and once you invest the time there are things Photoshop can't do

As I see it: There are a lot of photo editing software packages out there. If you have one it's either you like it or you don't or ( maybe ) it could be better. All software and people have a learning curve. Some easy - others not so easy. Then there is the fact that once you learn what you have, somewhere along the line you may wish it could do more. What someone else has, may OR may not be what you need. The grass is always greener on the side. In the editing business, as software companies constantly update their product, there are other companies coming onto the scene saying they can do more and better. Buyer beware! Look before ya leap. Things may not be what they appear to be. There is a reason a beautiful rose bush has thorns.
