I searched under d850 in the forum here and nothing much came up. If you have one; do you love it as much as you hoped, have you posted any photos?

Have one and love it. After many years out of photography, I jumped back in and am hoping for a lot more when I retire next year. Only posted one so far since I am way out of shape eyeball wise and am just shaking of a winter that still is lingering here. Came eyeball to eyeball with this guy last SAT... http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-524329-1.html

I got mine in January of this year, 2 days before leaving for a California Central Coast workshop. Which, with the complexity of the D850, I do not advise. Mastering the D850 isn't easy. Less than excellent lenses show all their flaws in 56 Mb images. The capabilities of the D850 system will blow your mind. Focus Stacking, in particular, has taken my Landscapes to another level. Here are a few images taken with the D850.

No. Looks like a nice camera, but for now my D750 does everything I want/need and more. I do not really need more pixels for my prints. I would probably opt for a lot more speed before pixels based on what I shoot.

Great stacks. Looking forward to giving that a try. What software did you use?

Exposure adjustment in Lightroom, Photoshop to combine the images. Once you figure the workflow, the process is fairly straightforward. Steve Perrry's Backcountry Gallery review of the D850 made it easy: https://backcountrygallery.com/nikon-d850-review/

Yes have mine since last year and have been using it and love what it can do. These were taken with the D850.

Yes. Once I mastered the D500, the D850 was easy

Yes, I have one. Yes, it IS amazing. I don't subscribe to the fairly common opinion that in order to appreciate it, you have to buy new/super expensive/very-best-quality lenses. I am doing very nicely with the Nikkor lenses I used on my old film cameras.

Nope, it didn't provide enough to make me want to give up my 800e.

I've had mine for months and, of late, am using it a little more- that is, I have taken it out of the house- and getting a "feel" for the thing but, when there's work to do, I reach for the D810. Oh, I can tell a difference in the images- it's just not a persuasive difference given my shooting style and comfort level.

Just received my D850 from B&H last week and absolutely love it. The focus accuracy is fantastic and fast and I haven't been disappointed with the few shots I've played with. The very first shots through the D850 are posted in today's gallery under the heading of "Face Only A Mother Could Love". There have been enough improvements to make it worth the move up from my D810's.
