Congratulations! I'm glad you like your work well enough to present it to the public. That's what's important. Some will like it and some won't. Looks like you've done a good job with the framing. Please let us know how it goes.

Laura, looking at your display there shouldn't be any critics or know alls.
I would love to see your bird pictures but the local bus doesn't go to Texas.
Be proud - I would be.

Congrats. It’s hard to put yourself out there. It’s also nice to to some folks tell you that your stuff is good.

Be proud of yourself and enjoy the moment. There is always someone who thinks that they can do it better. So what? There is also someone that can do it better than they can.

I believe most people will look at your photos and think they're great and admire your photography. Few will say "I could've done that". Those that do are probably envious. Nobody "sees" precisely like you -- or me -- or any other photog -- so have little fear, and courage too!

I have my first pop-up show in a small local art gallery! I don’t feel worthy and I’m probably not. Of course, I am nervous that someone will walk in, look at my work and say “I could have done that!” But it is what it is. I am patting myself on the back just because I had the nerve to put myself out there! :)

Congratulations, enjoy the experience. You deserve it.

If you were unworthy of this honor, it would not of been given to you. Congratulations!

This reminds me of an experience I once had, not with photography, but I want to tell you anyway. We have raised and shown horses for many years, having 77 of them at one time. One year we won the Yearling World Grand Championship with one of ours that I trained myself, a filly. Fillies usually do not win that honor. It usually goes to a stallion. I WAS PROUD! I took my trophy and ribbon and started back to the barn on the show grounds. A man stopped me and said, Congratulations, she is FABULOUS, but I have one in my barn at home that could have beat her." My snarky reply was..."she'll never do it standing in the barn!"
Don't stop there! Keep going! It looks great and you never know til you try!
