Congratulations. As I was hanging my first show, a lady came in an bought one of my "masterpieces". She said "The red in the photo matches my sofa." Bottom line: When somebody says something stupid about your photos, just smile.
Laura: it's an accomplishment; you should not feel unworthy.
OUTSTANDING!
Congratulations, Laura!
I think that all the time. Photography, art, music. Then I try... Nice work!
Pluck up and admit that someone thought positively enough of your work to hang it on a wall.
Maybe the other person could have taken the shot, but they did not and they are not on the wall.
Being overly modest is not a plus. Realistic modesty is the place to be. Don't brag. But, say to yourself,
"I am pretty damn good, or at least good enough". If others want to be on the wall, let them take the damn shot and have the guts to hang it up.

Unless you're showing humongous mural style scenes or sublimely produced LARGE B&W's, everybody who has a cell phone is going to say they could do that. They may not even think its so, but they say it anyway. There're the same folks who say similar stuff at restaurants and torture the staff with multiple re-do's (and probably never realize they were re-served the same plate at the end) anyway. We both know better.
From what I can see from your post, I think you and your images are worthy. People will enjoy the opportunity to see and share your images. Let them.
Be prepared for the opportunity to sell a copy or two. Know your price without hesitation and know how to take a credit card payment, juuuussstt in case.
Good luck and also be prepared for the compliments you will get. You have some nice images on display.

Everybody who has a cellphone? I don't think so.
While it takes courage to exhibit your work, it is more important that you shared the beauty you were able to find through the lens.
Very nice, I wish I could do that !!
Congrats. Don't worry about what others say. Yes, some might say "I could do that" but the fact is, they didn't.

. . . . I am patting myself on the back just because I had the nerve to put myself out there! :)
Putting yourself out there is something every photographer needs to do if they want to know if their message is getting through. Good on you for going ahead!

I have my first pop-up show in a small local art gallery! I don’t feel worthy and I’m probably not. Of course, I am nervous that someone will walk in, look at my work and say “I could have done that!” But it is what it is. I am patting myself on the back just because I had the nerve to put myself out there! :)
You have brass, way to go
Congratulations, Laura! I am a musician (theatre organist), and I heard a world-class friend give this criticism, "Not better, nor worse! Just different"! Don't worry about those who would put your work "in a box"! Just do what you like, and what you're good at! In this big, wide world, there will be many who will like your work! GO FOR IT!
Be prepared! Someone will want to purchase your work. Looks great, by the way.
Happy for You!!! Nice Going!!! Enjoy!!!
