[quote=Bill_de]Congratulations Laura! It is a great achievement.
If I found the right site it says the event is over. Are they just referring to
Lap it up Laura - you have done well to be recognised like that! Just bask in the glory.

I have my first pop-up show in a small local art gallery! I don’t feel worthy and I’m probably not. Of course, I am nervous that someone will walk in, look at my work and say “I could have done that!” But it is what it is. I am patting myself on the back just because I had the nerve to put myself out there! :)
VERY NICE! Congratulations, Laura!

Congratulations. Way to put yourself out front. I bet you were really nervous about it. But now you feel accomplished, and you should. Good for you.

Do not second guess your capabilities. You are worthy of the showing and congratulations that go along with it. Good luck!

Well done!! Personal showings are a thrill...yes!!
I have been doing art shows for over 10 years. Inevitably someone will enter my booth display and made that stupid comment I could do that. Most times I just ignore them because they’re ignorant, other times I’ll make a simple statement like “Well, you should.” I then offer my business card and tell them to call me for information on how to get started. Funny, only one call in 10 years. Best of luck and congratulations on your showing.
