My first look at Jupiter this year.
I pulled out my C8 SCT and the color Celestron 236C for this one.
I shot at 70 frames per second and captured 10000 frames.
I stacked 50% in Autostakkert!3 and finished it off in Registax for the wavelets.
Final touches in Photoshop CC 2018.

Nice, I’ve tried this a month or so ago, terrible results. When you are doing your video, does it fade in and out and jump all over the screen?

Great Cesar's Ghost! https://youtu.be/4kq1BQCIg5g?t=1m40s

Planet, and planting, season.
I'll have to look them up.

Last night it was pretty steady but I had issues with jello shake as I like to call it. Jiggling all over the edges and tough to get a good focus.
Pretty windy on the ground and seeing was marginal due to Sonnys cloud bits coming through as well.
When I stacked it using the course setting I had about 70% above 50% quality.
I was hoping to shoot Bodes but couldnt get it past one of the trees.

Perry White, Editor of the Dailey Planet Newspaper used to saw, Great Cesar's Ghost! and Jumpin Jupiter! a lot.
Couldn't find a Jumpin Jupiter cut.
Yep, that was the Old Superman.

I always wondered why he could deflect bullets, but ducked when the empty gun was thrown at him.

Maybe you caught a rerun of Porky Pig and Sylvester? http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xk2yb4

Nice! I used to like the frustration of planetary imaging; not so much anymore...

I find the atmospheric motion on the east side of the Rockies very annoying, per Jupiter In Motion.

I had a little of that but my bigger issue was the upper level winds.
You can see what looks like heat waves flowing across the surface in the video and this was way past sundown by almost 8 hours.
I went back and tried to stack 75% of my subs and this was the result.
I like this one a bit better.

I remember the Jumpin Jupiter line but since it wasn't in the clip thought maybe you did a Yosemite Sam "Musta goofed up somewhere.."
As to ducking the thrown gun, it might bounce off and hurt one of the innocent bystanders..

Yup, I like this one better, in particular the blue waves along the top of the lower main band. The lack of the big cyclone doesn't detract at all!
