Used camera warranty

First I should say I am not a fan of extended warranties on a new camera or lens, however I just purchased a camera from Borrow lens and was thinking of purchasing a camera warranty. I will be checking the camera actuations a little later this weekend but even though in good shape I would feel more comfortable knowing I could get at least 2 years of service from the camera. Any suggestions?
Have not heard good reviews about Mack warranties.

Try SquareTrade https://www.squaretrade.com/all-plans?cat=Camera
Not cheap - figure about 25% of your purchase price for a 2 year warranty.

I would try Borrowlens first and see what they can offer.

What camera?

I have NIKON SLR camera, F x 4-F2-F3-F4-FM-N8008 and a D50 and D7200 ... I might be forgetting something ... with the newest 2 yrs old and the oldest 59 yrs old.

Onlt 2 were bought used. None have ever failed me for more than a battery.

Called square trade and they will not protect used cameras. I have seen protection on eBay for used cameras and that was the first place I tried. Will contact borrowlens on Monday

Cool camera the Df ... I’d verify all the functions worked, set aside what the warranty would cost, and then go enjoy it.

Make sure you read ALL of the fine print in All of the warranties and follow the instructions to a "T" or they will deny your claim. Been there done that!!!(Square Trade)

When in doubt, buy the protection. I only buy new so I have no experience with used camera bodies, I do buy, Mint in the box used lenses. I would suggest that if you are in doubt, buy the protection.

Mack worked great for my D800 they covered the repairs from a fall in a creek I had sent it to them they could not repair on site ans sent to Nikon totally redid camera shutter, seals, body work and cleaned to perfection I will use them again if I ever get another used camera.
