Experience with aftermarket (non - OEM) camera batteries. Short survey.
As a service to UHH members, I would like to collect responses from UHH members on their experience with non OEM batteries. I will collect the data and publish the results at the end of this thread in a day or so. Please respond with only these data: Brand of camera; brand of battery and experience - positive or negative. This might help members decide on what approach they should try. Please do not respond if you have only used OEM batteries for your camers(s). Thank you.

Wasabi batteries for Olympus E-PL5 - absolute crap, lasted 11 months, initially measured at 65% of the capacity of an OEM battery, printed rating on the battery is absolutely ridiculous.
I have a Watson battery that I use in my Nikon D7100, and it works just was well as the Nikon battery that came with the camera. Hold's charge just as well as the Nikon.
I actually alternate between the Nikon and the Watson.. using one till charge is gone then switching to the other till the charge is gone.. For me when the need comes up for a new battery for my D7100 I would probably reorder a Watson over the Nikon....
Got some Power2000 from Adorama or Cameta and can’t tell the difference from the Sony.
I buy Watson batteries as a spare.
SEIWEI for Olympus OMD_EM5II.
Very poor (negative experience) compared to the OEM batteries.

Canon 6D, 7DII, 5DIV and 80D (all use the same battery). Wasabi Power batteries, a total of 8, oldest a bit over 4 years. Still going strong. One tip, because some of the older Wasabi's only lasted when charged on their brand chargers and the new Wasabi chargers are compatible with Canon OEM also I only use the Wasabi chargers. Besides they hold two batteries at once, not one.

I have used Vivitar and Kastar batteries with positive results.
Sony (2), Wasabi (several), Positive
I have a Canon sx50. In addition to canon battery, have Watson for backup, can't tell a difference. Positive result.
