Great day to be out on the backroads in the mountains, but there was so much mud! At one point I was turning around in a trailhead parking lot wondering if my all wheel drive in the lowest gear would get me out. I had so much mud on the car at the end of the shoot it was hanging in clumps from the side mirrors and covered the doors. I headed down valley for a carwash and it began to rain..... but not hard enough to clean up the muck. They opened the carwash for me at the gas station and I actually paid to have the car cleaned and then drove out into the rain and slush. Another first. ðŸ¤

Really good shots, fotofinish! I love the first one with the cabin at the end of the path; it's lights make it look warm and welcoming!
