Looks like snow, but was actually very heavy and wet hail. In 40 years living here and working downtown, I had never seen anything like it.
Seen this on the news. Fire Dept. Using hoses to unfreeze cars . People using brooms anything else they get to dig out.
Oh, snow. I thought with the headline, you were going to show "an honest politician"!
By the title I was thinking a gas station sign with gas under $3.00/gal 😎😎
Nice photos...
Nice shots.
Learning how the other half of us live during the winter.
If you think hail in Sacramento is unusual, try hail in Fallbrook, CA, about 50 miles north of San Diego. We had hail the first year I lived there in 2005. A picture of it was on the cover of the local telephone book the following year.
As a long-time Jaguar owner, I think the driver of the F-Type in the third picture has lots of chutzpah being out in that mess.

why would that be and if you say its all liberals that live in California boy are you mistaken there are many more conservatives up in the mountain areas than probably are in all of Kansas, they just are not ultra conservative. So now lets stop turning this good post into a political argument that is what the attic is for. sorry to the op for replying to this fools comment wont do it again also no snow from this drencher in the lower foothills but lots of good rain,
further up the hill my daughter already has gotten a good amount of snow we sure need it.
