Hobo Confers With International Panel Of Renowned But Skeptical Energy Experts And Good Sports

(L to R):
- Mark Lynas (http://www.marklynas.org ), acclaimed UK author, researcher and blogger; his latest work 'The God Species: Saving The Planet In The Age Of Humans' is a controversial new look at planet management
- Tom Blees (http://www.thesciencecouncil.com ), USA, author of the groundbreaking 'Prescription For The Planet' and president of Science Council for Global Initiatives (SCGI)
- Prof. Barry W. Brook (Ph.D.), University of Adelaide, Australia (http://bravenewclimate.com ). Professor Brook is a leading environmental scientist, holding the Sir Hubert Wilkins Chair of Climate Change at the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, and is also Director of Climate Science at the University of Adelaide’s Environment Institute. He has written a popular book on sustainable nuclear energy, and is an International Award Committee member for the Global Energy Prize.

Upon meeting, Mr. Lynas was quick to dispel the yank misconception that Hobo's name would ever be pronounced, "'obo thE 'edge'og" in any Britain that he knows! What followed was a spirited discussion of Americans' disgraceful mutilation of the Queen's English in general, with particular focus on the minutely controversial relative silence of the letter "H" (take note, "'erb" farmers!). He also noted the recent disturbing trend toward bloody Americans' bloody cavalier misuse of the word "bloody", contending that it is most properly reserved for more extreme emotional outbursts. He had considerable research reinforcing his point, 'owever the 'og remained silent on the issue.

"I see where the Hog's going with his correlation of carbon emissions with beetle reproduction, but his calculations seemed somewhat biased by his appetite." - Mr. Blees

"This is absolutely the most trivial thing I've ever done!" - Prof. Brook

Using a Search for "hobo" seems to get most of the threads, but I'm sure that won't always be the case. It's becoming obvious that there will be hundreds of Hobo & Drifter pics before too long...

On a serious note, author Tom Blees (pictured above, center), has just made his book, 'Prescription For The Planet' available in its entirety as a FREE download, available at his SCGI website here.
You can't beat that price for a pretty interesting read on energy issues.
