Were you lying on your stomach, Dave, or do you have an articulating LCD screen? Fantastic perspective however hard or easy it was for you, and many stories could be interpreted here.

An example of “product placement” (the camera, not the beer cans)?

Thanks Linda !!! It does appear that I could have been on my stomach, but I wasn't. I just winged it by placing the camera on the sidewalk, and trying to keep it level to not have an unbalanced image. Although, it did take a few attempts to get something acceptable. I now have a waist level viewfinder attachment and no longer have to guess or shoot in the dark so to speak, but I do still find myself doing this concept out of laziness to put the attachment on the camera.

That is a neat shot--glad you weren’t down on the dirty sidewalk.

The newest of the Canon WiFi cameras can connect to your phone and you can see a LiveView on your phone as you shoot from the phone. So place the camera where you like, check the composition on your phone and move the camera where it works best all while looking at your phone and the take the shot.

If I remember correctly, I think I was considering the Seagull angle finder, but decided against it for the fact I have not had much success with aftermarket products. Although, this may have been a good choice, I also know you get what you pay for. Shoulda, coulda but didn't !!!

Yes, I'm told that some others are offering it as well. If it has built in WiFi it can probably do it. But the early models of Canon cameras that have WiFi aren't as sophisticated as the new ones are. So Don't expect it to work with older models. Some cameras have a module you can add to get WiFi too. I'm not sure if they work as well as the built in WiFi.
