A horse and a donkey

An old horse was in the pub having a few beers when he spotted an old donkey in the corner so he nipped over to have a natter.
The donkey asked "What did you do for a living?"
The horse replied " I ran on the flat in the summer and over the jumps in the winter."
The donkey said "I worked with kids on Blackpool beach".
The donkey then asked "Did you ever win anything?"
The horse replied "Yeah; on the flat I won the Oaks, St. Leger and the Derby and over the jumps I won the Grand National and the Gold Cup”.
And by the end of the night they had arranged to meet at the donkey's house a week later.
Come the day the donkey's thinking "I need to impress this guy, he's done everything". So he pops out, buys a big picture of a zebra, and hangs it above the fireplace.
The horse arrives and says "Lovely place you have here! Who's that in the picture on the wall".
The donkey replies "Oh, that's me when I played for Newcastle United".
