Yosemite, San Francisco, and the CA coastline down to Big Sur.

I have two and they are coast to coast. British Columbia and Newfoundland, Canada. I give the nod to Newfoundland.
What has been your paradise, so far?
LOL! Great timing: I just did a camera Club presentation titled “Galápagos: A Nature Photographer’s Paradise”!
I have been fortunate to visit many places nationally and internationally, but me favourite is still here at home because I have the time to find sights that are usually overlooked by others.
The western United States--Arizona, Utah, etc.
Two places; Molokai, Hawaii and Iowa. Two extremely different places but very similar people, and both places have breathtaking scenery...each in their own way.
Ireland, Western Montana and everywhere I look at God’s world!
Western Nebraska, especially Keith County. I've spent all or part of every summer since 1975 at the University of Nebraska Cedar Point Biological Station north of Ogallala. All of that landscape, but especially the road from Keystone to Roscoe, NE, has been a visual story and I've taken thousands of photos of hills, grasslands, sunrises, sunsets, and lake scenes, with several different cameras (as my equipment evolved).
Going there in April. Cannot wait.
So many places and so little time
Istanbul to Beijing, including all the "Stans"
Argentina ànd Chile including patagonia
Antarctica and of course northern and Western Australia and still more to see :-D
I really have not visited outside California. Some general "photo" regions for me are the Mojave Desert, Owens Valley, along Hwy I-395, Death Valley N.P., and Joshua Tree N.P.
Specific locations include Trona / Searles Lake, Devil's Punch Bowl, Red Rock Canyon S.P. (CA, off Hwy. 14), H.E. Huntington Botanical Gardens, Los Angeles County Arboretum (Arcadia, CA).
Beautiful places I've been to but have gotten only mixed or mediocre photographs at so for: Anza Borrego S.P. (been there at least 5 times), California Beaches (most of the good photos I've gotten there were many years ago when I was more agile and could hike and walk on the sand.)
Many of my better images have been of buildings in Los Angeles. And many of my best images have been macro and close-up images shot at home or in a studio at school.
My favorites are: Sawtooth Natl Forest in Idaho, Yellowstone & Grand Teton Natl Parks, Arches NP and Rwanda Africa. I have to add Banff and Jasper Natl Parks in Canada.

Loc: By the beautiful Hudson
Northern New Mexico, Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch area. Stunning.
My schools! More of an artist and a photojournalist than a business person, and rather wishing to be around my family than off trying to earn a buck selling photos, I chose to make my other passion, education, my vocation, with photography my avocation. Wouldn't you know, as a teacher, I could have my cake and eat it too! So much human interaction and vibrancy, so many opportunities to both shoot, teach, present, and publish my work, all while also being a classroom teacher. Yearbooks, slide shows, promotional materials, newsletters, field trip presentations; on and on. 40 years of following both of my passions, very fulfilling, no regrets!
