Camera Sony A6300
SD card SanDisk Extreme Plus 32 GB
I shoot raw and jpg. On a recent shoot 15 Sony raw files don’t appear on the disk. The jpg files are intact. The shots I took before and after the missing files have both raw and jpg. I used several disk recovery programs to try to locate the missing files with no success. The camera settings are correct. I can’t figure this out and would be grateful for any advice.
Did you ask Chris T if he has them?

I have no idea why this would happen. If you already tried a recovery program then I would assume they were either never written or written over.
Sorry
Did you use any any of the special shooting modes for those like panorama? Some of those features are jpeg only
These were shot on auto although others before and after were shot in auto also manual
I know nothing about Sonys, but I will ask this question anyway. Were you shooting in burst mode? A friend and I were shooting together (me on Canon, her on a Sony) and we both used burst mode for a particular shot. I got all of my raw + jpegs. She got only jpegs on some of them. I also learned that if you do an in-camera HDR, you only get a jpeg file.
Just a chance suggestion, but how full was your memory chip? The camera may only write .arw when there is sufficient uncluttered space.
I was not shooting in burst mode.
