Not much chance of that. We have to cut and cut and cut to afford that miraculous wall and the tax cuts for the billionaires. They need more mansions, yachts, and luxury cars.

The government spends billions on the military to "protect" us, but it can't seem to afford to spend money to keep us healthy. Maybe it should find out how all the other developed countries manage to provide healthcare for their citizens.

I vividly recall Reagan saying that we would increase our military budget to force the Soviet Union to match our spending which would drive them into economic collapse. It worked! The Soviet Union collapsed because it spent so much on its military in spite of having a large deficit. Are we heading the same direction? Stay tuned! Very few of our representatives even mention trying to have a balanced budget any more - even those who claim to be "conservative".

When will the printing of currency end?, if it doesn’t will we wake up and find ourselves like Greece or Puerto Rico. The Debt to GDP ratio is the highest it has ever been. The blame game and finger pointing is not going to solve the problems, when this occurs it is going to impact the bottom 98%, and wars will not get us out this upcoming calamity.

Yeah and there was an article on CNN today, describing how 82% of this past year's created wealth went to the top 1% of our society. Billionaires received, on average, a 13% increase in wages. What did everyone out there in UHH land get? For us retirees, we received a whopping 2% Social Security increase that was quickly swallowed up by Medicare premium increases.

So get off your duff, get together with your friends and family, identify an unfulfilled need, take some huge risks and start a business. Otherwise, quite with the envy and the whining.
