Just south of Presidio, TX, the Rio Grande to the right... no subject? Well... at the time, the pavement itself was the subject.

I understand the beauty of a good riding road. Well taken. Weather here in Utah was in the 50s on Thursday, so I got the bike out and did 100 miles. Last night we got 4 inches of snow, so the bike is back to hibernation mode in the garage.

My 1966 Triumph - "Bud Ekins' Special" - Bonneville would LOVE this road! (So would I.)

Like you said, only a motorcyclist would understand, and I understand completely. We both rode (recently hung up our helmets) and our mantra was, “Curves R Us.” Beautiful road for riding. The red Gold Wing is my wife’s, and the yellow one is mine. Taken a 9000’ Galena Summit in central Idaho, north of Sun Valley.

I was on that road last April in a small rental car. It was a fun road to drive for me. You really captured it very well.

Retired back to West Virginia 10 years ago and last year sold my HD and bought a new Goldwing to explore the mountains. Grew up here but have never had the pleasure of touring it. Great post and looks like a great place to ride.

Great shot (and kind of mean as we have experienced lots of ice and snow the past week).

We have never had this many bikes on battery tenders in decades of riding.

The COG "Three Sisters" rally will be in Kerrville, TX this year. If we are lucky, we'll make it, but we are moving to East TN soon and hopefully that will make up for living in "Flatghanistan" for too many years. :-)
