Taken in Jackson Square, which is a historic park in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. The guy on the bench goes somewhat unnoticed while playing to the beat of his bongo drum for a charitable donation.

Okay, we’ve got percussion...now where’s the rest of the flash mob orchestra? The players who materialize out of the St. Louis Cathedral, laden with biegnets and musical instruments to perform some great work if classical music. Great well composed image!

Thanks Ralph !!! The rest of the mob orchestra you speak of is actually behind me. I wanted to break away from the chaos to have a little more elbow room.

That’s a good one, Dave. The background looks as if there’s construction going on. Do you know what’s up with that?

Thanks John !!! Yes, there was construction throughout the whole square, even in front of St. Louis Cathedral. I didn't pay attention to what they were doing.

Very nice catch and composition. Looks like you didn't go totally unnoticed, one girl looks like she is looking right into your lens. :-)

In my experience most women, especially the pretty ones, like having their picture taken even if they aren't ready. I think it goes with the "there ain't no such thing as bad publicity" theory. ;-)

I agree and sometimes they almost seem to beg for a picture taken. I'll never figure it out.
