Can anyone recommend a few good nonviolent movies or series on Netflix?

Stranger Things, but begin with Series 1.
Glitch, from Australia, but begin with Series 1.
Doctor Blake, also from Australia. It's about a doctor who works with the police to solve murders, but it's not violent.
Doc Martin, Midsomer Murders, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, Father Brown.
Check back in three years when you've watched all of them, and I'll have some more for you. : )
I also like watcvhing foreign language movies and TV sedries - lots to choose form.

Did you check their offerings? Read the descriptions? Your choice and some stranger could be apples and oranges.
If you enjoy WWII era British crime, I strongly recommend Foyle's War. It has amazing period atmosphere down to a great presentation of historic automobiles and military vehicles. And it has Honeysuckle Weeks, a captivating British actress. A wonderful series. My favorites of all time are Longmire and The Killing (first two seasons) but very adult themes with some violence.
If I remember right, Black Mirror is non violent and very creative.
Longmire is my recent favorite but adult themed for sure.
Nurse Jackie was really good, not sure if it's still on there.
The Finder is good.
Continuum
Top Gear is a fun show if you like cars and traveling.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was mostly entertaining.

I watched Continuum for a while, but I eventually lost interest - didn't like where the plot was going.
I also gave up on Top Gear. I watched for a few years, but...
Top Gear - I like the trips they take and to see the scenery, those are the best ones.
Continuum's ended very well - power through or skip ahead!
Grantchester and Father Brown, similar themes, not sure which copied which, but both good. Priest, Father Brown solves crimes and embarrasses the local constabulary, and in Grantchester its an Anglican clergy.
Thanks for all the responses. I now have lots of good suggestions to try!
Also try โThe Ranchโ.

If you like historical drama, check out Turn and also Frontier. For Sci-fi I like Dark Matter, and for great comedy I recommend Shameless.
