We have a golf course behind our house and it is frequented by 20-30 mule deer (also a rafter of wild turkeys...I had to look that up to know the correct word). The deer love our apples, so we often take a few that have fallen and toss them over the fence. Yesterday there were four (including two very young ones) that were coming right up to the fence with me just a few feet away and staring me down in an obvious effort to let me know they wanted more. The photos had to be shot through the fence, but still fun. I also managed a few photos of some of the last apples and leaves left on the tree. It was windy, so focus was a challenge.
Your apples look delicious. No wonder the deer were drooling!
Cute photos of the deer. They are not stupid, they know where to go for an apple or two.
Good shots, Vienna74! I love her little pink tongue in the first one!
