My game camera has bitten the dust. It is a Wildgame Innovations model. Got it for Christmas three years ago. Would like to spend about $100 or so to replace it. I am sure some of you UHH folks use these and would appreciate your suggestions. Maybe Mrs. Santa will put one under the tree. They are a lot of fun. So far I have gotten deer, bear, coyotes, turkey, crows, bobcats, raccoons, squirrels, feral hogs, dogs (maybe feral) and one possum. For some reason no voles or other small rodents. Could be the camera doesn't pick them up. Thank you. This is a great site.

Wildgame Innovations still makes these in a wide range of prices. Have you looked at their site? Or check Dick's sporting goods.

You might call them (if you haven't already!) and find out how much to repair yours. On some specialized equipment, like yours, some companies have an 'unlimited' and 'unmentioned' warranty. Or, some even have a flat, exchange price.

Well worth a call!

I have a "Realtree pro series" that the battery wire got severed on.
The pictures were pretty high quality for a trail cam.
I now use a Stealthcam STC-PX86NG, pics aren't nearly as good though.

You may find this useful. https://www.trailcampro.com/

I had two different trail cameras in recent years and while they were novel and interesting at first I soon tired of the toy like image quality. Price in not an indication image quality. They are good for identifying the presence of creatures but not much more.

Thank you for your time and reply. I did look, but have no experience with them. This one lasted out in the weather for three years, so maybe another one like it? Thanks again.

I appreciate your reply. The Browning does a better job than my Wildgame camera, I think. Don't see how I could go wrong, Three Bills! I am going to check on them tomorrow. Thanks again.

Thank you. I will call them. Never thought of calling as the camera is so old. Appreciate your time.

Many thanks for your reply. I will Google Realtree in a minute and see if anybody fairly close by sells them. I would really like to handle one , if possible, before I buy. Thanks for your time.

It is true the images are not very good, but we, my wife and I, enjoy seeing what is up there in the woods. I have sent some images from the camera via e mail, but have never thought about printing one. Thanks for your reply and time.

Do you do stills or video? I recently got this one from Amazon, but I haven't put it out yet. I paid $82 to Amazon, but now it's more expensive from other sellers.

Hi Bill,
I have posted a couple trail camera videos on UHH. My camera works excellent! It is a Browning Strike Force HD Pro model 5HDP. As you can see on the videos I did the quality is very good. The one strong thing also is the long battery life. I had it out for over 10 weeks and the 6 batterys (AA size) lasted the whole time. It does emit a faint red glow when triggered after dark. Some cameras are a no-glow. I use to have a Stealth Cam, model was something like G42-NG. I thought it worked well until I compared it to the Browning and returned the Stealth Cam after it died. If you have any questions please ask me. By the way, the video I posted on UHH this week was made up of about 16 video clips from the month of October. It actually triggered over 800 times and I cut it down to the best 16! By the way, I can do one or three still photos or up to 20 second videos. I use the 20 second video and then edit it down to the size I want in movie maker.

Hi Jerry,
I do stills. The price is certainly good on the Bushnell. Going to town today and will check one out. Many thanks.
