Just in time for Halloween! Let your imagination (and your photo editor) run wild...
Lets see some spooky, creepy crawlers and the places they inhabit!
I'll be gone tomorrow until later in the day, but I'll try to keep in touch on my Kindle.

Absolutely love that VW spider!!But I really would rather have a classic Mitsubishi spyder instead - convertible, of course.

Agreed! So would I - but that would be beautiful, not scary.

Here's a shot of the infamous Black Mausoleum in which "Bluidy" George MacKenzie is entombed. MacKenzie was an Edinburgh lawyer who was involved in the imprisonment of 1,200 Covenanters in 1679 in the nearby "Covenanters' prison" in the Greyfriars Kirkyard. Many of these people died of exposure, torture, and execution, while others were exiled to the New World as slaves. In all, MacKenzie was responsible for the deaths of over 18,000 Scots Covenanters. In 1999 a homeless man took shelter in the tomb and while in there did damage to many of the coffins and attempted to open that of MacKenzie. The man fell through a hole in the floor into a chamber in which plague victims had been thrown - after several centuries they were still rotting. The man fled screaming from the place and was never seen again! Since then there have been reports of paranormal activity at both the mausoleum and the Covenanters' prison area. Both are now locked. I don't believe in ghosts, but something nasty was going on!
