Over many years, I've stopped and taken probably 100 photos of this scene and never posted one. There is a quality to this particular scene that always attracts me to stop. I have taken thousands of photos of the mighty Tetons going back to the early 1970's. Most of these photos without trees are just boring to me so have never posted any of them. Anyhow, this was captured this past September during a visit to Grand Teton N.P. and has an attraction to me that I thought I'd share. Wish there would have been some clouds, but, oh well.

Very nice photo. Glad you decided to post. As I'm sure you are aware, changing out a sky and adding clouds in post can be relatively easy, particularly when you have a definitive outline as you do in this photo. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that Photoshop, Topaz Remask and Anthropics Smart Photo Editor are just a few programs that should work well. The latter has the advancing providing a large number of replacement skys with clouds.

Trees are one of my favorite photo subjects, they add so much to a scene.

I didn't mean to add the green face. Slip of the finger.

Thanks Steven... I appreciate your comments and sky suggestion. I've tried replacing sky's and am a little sloppy at it and just got lazy with this photo!

Thanks Kirin and I agree with having trees in a scene.
