Thank you. I hope the photos brought back some good memories. Like you, I was born and raised here in Oregon (PDX). Now live in Happy Valley. Have been fortunate to have seen most of the US. But always come back home.

You are only a stones throw away. Go there, you will love it. Not sure what part of Oregon you grew up in. If like me and are vintage and grew up in Portland you may remember KISN radio. The host at the lighthouse B & B was a DJ for KISN. I worked at KATU television at the same time he was at KISN. We had some mutual acquaintances. It was fun taking a walk down Memory Lane.

It really is. Don't know if you have been out this way. It is rugged landscape. Lots of step cliffs following Hwy 101's coastline. A Kodak moment at every turn. You can't just drive 101 without stopping.

I was also born in Portland, but lived in Hillsboro (yes, loved KISN), and then moved to Eugene at age 14.

Thank you. There are miles and miles of coastline that looks similar to this. I consider myself extremely fortunate to live here. Not a lot of coast in NC. lol My wife and I visited your state for the first time last June. We had a awesome time.
