I have 3 Jerry, one on each shoulder and one on the boob... All to do with the American Native Indian. They are no over big and I had them done when I was 45 and they still look good....

Back in my Navy days (66-69) , I had one picked out. As a Boatswains Mate I thought that was part of the job description. I pondered over the artwork many times, but as drunk as I got from time to time (an it happened from time to time) , it just never seemed to be enough to do the deed. I was discharged without a mark and to this day have kept that tradition alive. I still admire beautiful artwork, some of which I do not understand. I was in a mall several years ago and there was a 30 something male wearing a tank top type shirt. as I walked by him I noticed his artwork. I turned around and asked him if I could check out what he had done. Down his entire right arm was a wizard complete with the gold pointed hat with stars in it, but it was his left arm and half of his chest that totally amazed me. It was the head of an elephant with his arm being the trunk. Beautiful artwork, but nothing I would ever contemplate. Some of the artwork is just that - art. Some of it is just junk. Nothing I would ever do, but I do like art.

I play bass guitar, and have the logo from the pickguard of my Gibson Thunderbird bass on my left arm, with some shading added by the artist. This is meaningful to me as I have three of those basses and have had one of them since it was new in 1976.

I also have a tribal band on my right arm, but those are so common I won't post a pic.

Is this the American way ? If you dont like something, then bully ?
I've read words like stupid, tramp, idiot, mutilation. Well if you dont like the subject , get the freaking off the thread, you do nothing else than just bullying. Can't belive I am reading such disrespectful comments.
I am so looking forward to find a thread from you guys with something that's not my cup of tea , and I shall insult as good as I can. After all , if it's not good for me, you have to be stupid.

Kiss off !! DUDE!! lol,,,,, Many of us just stated HONESTLY how/what we feel about TATTOOS. Everyone makes judgements on every issue that comes into their purview on any given day. Some of us feel that way, you feel another, but you just choose to get crude!! Fortunately for all of us "WE have the IGNORE mode to go to, and YES!! I am suggesting ...You can GO TO!!....

Well said, but certainly agreed to by an owner of at least one tattoo!! RJM I knew it wouldn't be popular, or well received "stating when I see tattoos, I think STUPID, nothing personal, but I bet more people that got TATTOOS, wish they hadn't. In retrospect, many think that decision was stupid. An act of stupidity. I'm NOT sorry that I voiced in with my actual TRUE belief on the topic. And I don't regret going public with it I'm not very interested in being politically correct. .

Kiss off ... GO TO .. why dont you complete the sentence? You were doing so well a little while back. Or are the words to harsh to express your opinion now ?
I did not know that this place was ment to tell your opinion about something in the most disrespectful ways. In fact as I recall on the rule of the UHH it is asked to be polite. Look up that in the dictionary. One would think a so called vet as you learned that years ago.

Next time you aske me to go to ...then you can kiss my European !!!......
