Trump has many faults as a man , but this constant bashing has an agenda . An agenda rooted in the fact that some Americans and American institutions like the New York Slime aka New York Times , have stooped so low that their stories mislead the public with outright falsehoods in attempt to a destroy a man because they are unhappy about the general election results .
The actions of the Left are only dividing the country further . Trump will win hands down in 2020 because the level of anger by trying to feed Americans false news is only rising .
To use a crisis like this as a way to form a hit piece is disgusting .

I agree, but what is hurting them the most is the lack of leadership! Just saw many, many, refrigerated containers with food, medicine, water and other supplies setting untouched and waiting for distribution, but roads must be cleared and repaired and trucks and drivers available for delivery; such a shame as so many of the people are desperate for help.
You are right 10,000 shipping containers full of supplies sitting there but until the roads are cleared the trucks can not deliver. This has nothing to do with the Jones Act.
People who post shit like Jerry did do not want to know the truth their political bias wants to blame President Trump even if he is doing all he can to help. If they would bother to find out what was really going on before they attacked Trump they would not look like such a fool

Not sure about 2020 win but I sure hope not. And as a recovering GOP'er, my feelings for the stooge have nothing to do with acceptance of his office or the election-that is done. For me, it is about fully open eyes and knowledgeable competence of decision above your own interests or image. In photographic parlance, the Repubs keep trying to fit a Zeiss lens on a Spider-Man camera from Wal-Mart.

Regardless of their bias and failures, the value of all media (even Fox) cannot be understated.

We wouldn't expect anything else from the lib owned news. They have lost all their creditable. They now try to make the news instead of reporting it.

The last sentence in your quote explains the media tactic right to a tee , excellent ! 👍

For over 40 years I said we need a business man as President instead of a politician. The Donald thought he was going to empty the swamp. He learned quickly that what he says or does gets voted down in the House or Senate. He's not used to people saying no. I forgive all of that because of who he ran against.

A real example of how anger, fear, hatred and ignorance will cause you to make incredibly horrible life decisions and then stand blindly behind them.

my take is that the jones act has nothing to do with the situation with Puerto Rico. even if you let everyone in, the infrastructer just isn't there. getting roads open, getting drivers, shipping fuel into the country. helicopters, pilots.STOP claiming us of dragging our feet. you don't just snap your fingers and out pop drivers, helo's and -pilots.

Oh, I misunderstood! I thought Rick was referring to Sen. Schumer (D, NY) who, even before Pres. Trump was inaugurated, promised to do everything in his (and Hillary's) powers to do anything and everything they could to prevent any of the President's proposals from becoming law. That probably includes his tax cut and reform suggestions. If Schumer succeeds, I hope the NY tax payers appreciate their opportunity to continue sending too much of their income to Washington for the House and Senate to waste and fill their own coffers!

They are not going to reduce spending, did you know that? Just increase the Nations debt by reducing taxes to business and the wealthy under the guise of stimulating the economy, a ruse tried and failed many times before. Good for Trump though since it is expected to save him countless millions. You maybe should try reading some of that fake libertard news you speak of so fondly.

Trump is failing us. And to get back to this thread, he has failed millions of US citizens in his response to the crisis in Puerto Rico. He and our crippled legislative process are failing us all.

I'd suggest that you go back and read or re-read the history of the economic growth the economy experienced after the Kennedy and Regan tax cuts. It is always more efficient to let the people spend their money than have the governments take it, absorb about 30+% in government costs, and then claim to have "stimulated" :the economy with what little actually gets spent on worthwhile projects.

I know all you liberals and Democrats think that the government is the answer to all problems, but I guess you were not listening (or yet born) when President Regan pointed out that big government isn't the cure for a problem; it IS the Problem!

Your math also stinks. If we all get a 10% tax cut with few allowable deductions as proposed, the guy or lady making $ 150,000 per year will get a greater tax reduction (in dollars) than someone else with a $50,000 income who is just making ends meet, and will probably invest or spend it in a manner that further stimulates economic growth.

Did you miss the fact that they are not decreasing spending? How does that make for smaller less intrusive government? I am all for smaller government. Nothing that is being proposed by you or this budget proposal leads to smaller less intrusive government.

The CBO says it does not have enough detail in the current plan to determine how the middle class will be affected, yet you with your fancy math have it figured out! Good for you! You should call the COB and offer to lend them a hand.

There is zero proof that "supply sided" or "trickle down" policies have or have not worked. Too many other factors involved to make a statement one way or the other. Show me 10 articles that claim to show it works and I will find 11 that says it doesn't.

So let's give a known big tax cut to business and the wealthy, sweat the details later on the middle class, keep on spending money we don't have, and roll the dice that an unproven fiscal policy is going to bail us out. Sounds like a plan to me!

Too funny...
