You see a photograph come up in the screensaver, you really want. But, when you go through all your folders, you cannot find the sucker, no matter how hard you try. Where did it go? Any idea, Guys? Any assistance enormously appreciated.

The PC is a Lenovo Desktop with an AMD 3.5Ghz CPU running 12 GB DDR-3 with a 2TB HD. OS is Win 10.

Dirt, first off ... thanks awfully, for providing me that link. I do very much appreciate it.

Now, then ... the question I asked was not about how to get to the Screensaver Settings. I do it all the time.

I have four desktops, all running Win 10, and the screensaver in each one is set for a different batch of pics.

On one - it goes to Canon bodies. In the second, it goes to Nikon bodies. In the third, it goes to Sony bodies. And in the fourth - it goes to Pentax bodies. So, I can always tell at a glance, which setup is producing what kind of images. Do you see?

My problem outlined here, is that I cannot find a series of pics, which show in the screensaver on that machine. But when I go looking for that series in the Folders - they cannot be found. I know they're there, because the Screensaver on that machine - is picking them up. But, when I go to find them to make a copy, they're not there!

Windows 101 - In the friendly little search window in the bottom near the Win symbol, type screen. The list that pops up should include some reference to the Screen Saver, typically Turn Screen Saver On or Off.
Click the settings button and you should see a Browse button, which should open a Browse for folder window which will indicate where the screen saver images are being loaded from.

RG ... thanks very much for the suggestion.

I actually do know where they are - supposed - to be loaded from, because I directed the screensaver to load the images on that computer only from my Sony bodies. However, when I look in all three Sony Body Folders, those images I want to make copies of - cannot be found.

I don't think you can identify the image currently being displayed. I have the same frustration. It would be nice if you could hit a key combo to "identify" it, but as soon as you touch the mouse or a key, it goes away.

I believe he knows where to find them, he just would like to easily identify a particular image that was displayed and not have to search through them all.

If you are talking about the default wallpapers they reside in "C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\".

If you set the File Explorer to "Large Icon" you can see the image instead of the file name.

If you right click on an image and do a "Save As" you can then direct the image to what ever folder on the PC you want. Then you can got to that folder to find the image and right click on it and then click on "Set as Desktop Background". Hope this helps.
