Canon T5 vs T6

Is there much difference between these two models. I am trying to replace an XS that was lost, and am opting for a few more features.

The only noticeable difference between them is that the T6 has a 920,000 dot LCD and the T5 has a 460,000 dot LCD. Other than that they are pretty much the same cameras.

The T6i also has live view and 24.2 MP's. A great camera with more features then you'll most likely never use.

BUT, the OP is not comparing a T6i just the T5 and T6.

I bought the T5 on eBay, and the seller sent me a T6. I have informed him and will see what he wants me to do.

No differences worth talking about, except the T6 has a higher resolution screen.

Ebay's The Pixel Hub has told me they did not have a T5 in their warehouse and opted to upgrade me to a T6. I thanked them for that.

Just be aware that cameras sold by the Pixel Hub are ALL grey market and you will have no warranty coverage on them.

Didn't know about that. I have purchased an insurance package through Fair Trade, the T6 arrived in what appears to be original packaging, with a manual and a Canon registration form. What does gray market mean in this context? It was listed on eBay as "new".

In this context, "gray market" means it was sold by Canon to a channel which is not authorized to sell in your country.

The OP indicated and interest in either the T5 and T6. Why muddy the water with other suggestions? There is over a $400 increase in cost between the T6 and the T7i.
