Thank you. Unfortunately the Canon 75-300mm is the largest I have at this time. I don't know if I lost some of the sharpness when I cropped or if I just didn't have it properly focused when I took the shot. I did use a tripod so my focus could be a little off.

Number 1 for me, to get a good photo of the moon, you need a bigger lens, or a super zoom like the Nikon P900, or the Canon SX-50, you also need a tripod, and cable release i have enclosed a couple of my shots to show you what you can get with these cameras.
