Excellent photos! I'm not well versed in the mystical world of digital photography having just bought my first digital SLR camera after many years of 35mm. I'm headed for Switzerland on Wednesday so I just hope that I can begin to take shots as good as your examples.

I am headed to Ireland a week from today and taking a group of 12. It will be my 6th trip there, but I hope my most photographically productive. I am going to take a tripod this time, even though I really cannot use it while with the group. I figure on free time, especially early morning and late evening, I can get a few nice photos.

This is a really nice series, even if it was shot in jpeg. I have some photos I took in Israel that I took before I had a DSLR and could shoot jpeg. I've done a lot of PP on the best ones. Still haven't made a book out of them and I took them in 2006. I now shoot in RAW and can do more with the photos, but old jpegs can still be made quite good in PP with a lot of effort.
