So, I finally got me a new toy to my arsenal of photo toys. I've been learning my photography for a couple of years now, with the challenge of getting good result without a proper flash. There has been many challenges to get the good photo and that helped me a lot learning how to use my camera. The relative between ISO Aperture and Shutterspeed has been put to practice and pushed to the limits just to get that satisfactory result. I knew back then that i will need to invest in to a good flash in order to get better results. But I held on, I faced and took on the challenge to shoot without it. It made me learn a quite a bit, and came to the point where I was really "horny" to get a flash. So I did. With a little help from my good friend I've been convinced to became a owner of a Godox V860 IIN flash.
So here there are ,my first attempts.
Meet my cousin. Standing model for my first tests with this. She is a beauty ... my cousin of course.
Now I see the "light", but still have much to learn.
Happy summer ya'll
Did you use any diffusion device or is this just with the flash?

Hi rmalarz, if I understand this correctly, YES. (the plate going over the bulb, and the white plate pointing straight up)
I am trying to see the differences between using them and not, but I've just started using it and have to do some more shots before I understand the differences. Also , lots more to learn. A whole new universe for me.
A diffuser will soften the photo greatly and especially women, they do not like the harsh super sharp photos that show every detail and blemish in their skin. A diffuser will soften it all out if used correctly.
Looks like good lighting on your model
I can now see how a lot of photos will be easier from now on. I just got this flash and it seems to be a good one.
Thanx for looking

I am on vacation in Romania , visiting my relatives living in a beatufull remote place outside the big cities, and they have many cats living here. Besides the turkeys, chickens, cocks and dog. :)
I love the eyes of this cat.
Cheers
