I played around with some of my snowy egret images, and since the background was already pretty dark, I just made it black to see if I could create a bit of a dramatic effect. I hope you like them. I'd like your opinions, yes or no. Thanks
A bit of a spat.
A deffinent yes from me. Very well done.
Super shots. What was the camera and Lens used?
gorgeous shots! particularly the last one!
I only like the first, second and third one!
Very nicely done.
Very appealing and dramatic. White birds are suited to this treatment and I like the perched shot best.
I love the dramatic effect this gives! Really makes the graceful wings' shape stand out. Absolutely love these!
I like them. Very nicely taken and processed.

kvijay...First of all; welcome to the Ugly Hedgehog Forum; glad to have you aboard. I look forward to seeing your posts.
Thank you very much for the kudos, and for having a look. For those particular shots I was using a Canon 5D mark IV with a Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L USM Lens.
Just to let you know; that is the cheapest L series telephoto lens that Canon makes. It is a super great lens for bird photography, and I use it quite frequently. I love the fact that it is light weight and produces very sharp images.
Fantastic images, Mike, they are such beautiful and graceful birds... love them against the dark background!!
I enjoyed them all, but love the dance between the two on the last shot, even if it's really a spat!!
