Look closer, not on the trigger but to its side. Plus guns are unloaded.

A gun is never assumed to be unloaded unless the one holding it has cleared it.

Looking closer, I see both fingers on the triggers. Not pressing the triggers, but touching them. Definitely not on the side; inside the trigger guard.
Are the guns unloaded? Magazines are in.
