Alot has been said about raw vs jpeg, shoot what works for you.All of these are JPEG files after PP. I set all of my cameras to shoot at tie highest JPEG file and at a natural setting with the least amount of noise reduction.
I shoot in AP, I set white balance and Iso depending on shutter speed. i use exposure compensation as needed. I make my own prints on a Canon PIXMA pro 900 MKii. I buy custom frames from frames by mail and American frame. This May I will be photographing the Memorial Day event for the fith year in a row, at the correctional facility that I work at. What ever you shoot camera and file wise just enjoy what you do and spread our craft.

No one can complain about these IMHO. Beautiful work, and Frames by Mail provides good quality, easy to assemble products.

If this is some of your best work; what will you do next? They were maybe good enough to show before you worked on them. Now I ain't sayin' it's good or bad I'm sayin' I think you out-did yourself a little bit; you talent still shines to my notion, let them out is all.

I would certainly enjoy producing any of these and wouldn't care how I did it. Excellent set. I recognize Highland Light, but they are all wonderful. Well done.

They are all very good photographs with he exception of no.3, you have overdone the PP and produced a halo effect round the lighthouse and the horizon. I suspect it will be the highlight adjustment which has been pushed a bit too far, if you still have the original try some PP again and see if my thought in correct.

Despite all the naysayers there is nothing wrong with shooting in jpeg. Shoot the highest quality setting and use good equipment and your photos are a testimonial to how good the results are.

I am not a pp user but it appears that 9 10 are over done. The sunset pictures were good. Good job.
