Just rec'd emails from Nikon and Adorama - D750 body w/battery pack for $1500; or w/24-120 lens for $2000
is this a sign that a "new" version is coming soon?
There is always a "new" version coming soon ;)

That's a good deal, considering that the new DX model, D7500, body only, is $1,250.

yeah, I know.
just wondering if they're clearing inventory (at max price) before a "coming soon" version drives those prices down

forgot to mention; the D810's in that sale too
If you want one it's the time.
There is always time , as every month the old has been,s get cheaper . The new one get a boost with a new feature or two ,but a D 300s
Was state of the art a few years and the D800 was the talk of the town , now there a fraction. Of there original cost , so just getting one
Of those should be good enough for any one , as most here can get the latest and greatest for the next 100 years , and very few would
Would ever get a picture as well put out as what , those to camera's are capable of. So ln my view I'm forgetting about the latest and greatest the D810 and the D2200 , I know what they can can do , the smartest thing would be to get one of those instead of chasing
A faster shutter speed or higher iso , why bother I know the pic I take will be no better than what I can get with a D810 or a d2300
Today or tomorrow or ten years from now , I can't see me out growing either one , it's all a mind game played by the camera makers
, and you can do the same with a Canon or Sony ,
