Is F4 going to be enough for interiors?

You could struggle in this case, you would probably need a wide prime, I use a Panasonic 20mm f1.7 and it will photos in the dark (almost) they are quite cheap as well.

I own most of the lenses you are considering and for me, without question, I would be taking the 12-100 f4 pro if I were only taking 1 lens. The additional IS the lens provides more than offsets the f4. It is a wider angle, lighter and smaller than the f2.8 Pro. It is most likely the ultimate travel lens in the Olympus lineup which is why I purchased it. (I recently put an ND filter on this lens and shot waterfall shots at 2 seconds hand-held which worked incredibly well!)

Thanks.

EDIT:

So it call comes down to finance. If I have £1100, I will get the Oly 12-100 F4. If I don't, I will get the Pana-Leica 25mm F1.4 and go on a nostalgia trip.

I know you only want one lens, but a 25/75 combo is one of my favorites.

If you expect to shoot many interiors, I'd go with the 12-40 f2.8. In city shooting I find wide angle more useful than tele, if I have to choose. Could also consider packing along the small 40-150 f4-5.6 for outside use. Not perfect, but pretty good and easy to pack.

No, not many, but I wanted to have the option to make a decent photo inside a building (e.g. during a conference).

The Pro 12-40 and 40-150 (over your budget) would be a fantastic pair and you'd be set for a long time with top quality lenses. It's hard to believe the portability of such quality hear. With the 2x factor on the body that 40-150 gives you the equivalent of a 80-300 lens, good enough for most needs. As mentioned previously, these lenses are very sharp. If just one 12-40, 2.8 is the way to go. Have fun on the trip.

75mm f1.8
It's a compact gem...one of the sharpest lenses in the system.

I am going on a city trip (business + pleasure) to Torino in June. I want to take my MFT camera with me (Olympus E-M1 Mk2), but would prefer to take just 1 lens with it, max 2. Currently I own 3 Olympus lenses: 30mm F3.5 macro, 45mm F1.8 and 75-300mm tele zoom (for birds). None of them fits the bill because of no wide angle capability. I will be doing photos on the streets (buildings, landscape etc.) and inside buildings (museum, conference hall). What do you advise I should get?

1. Olympus 12-40mm F2.8 pro + Olympus 40-150mm El Cheapo
2. Olympus 12-100mm F4 pro
3. Olympus 14-150mm?

The max budget is around ~1000 GBP.

Thanks.

Get the 14-150 and the 12mm f/2.

I use the 14-150mm on my Pen E-P5, I find it just awesome.
I used to own the OM-D E-M1 mk1, also rendered beautiful colours and clarity

I have the same camera and model. I do a lot of travelling and my workhouse lens is the 12 - 40, a little heavy but compact, fast and tack sharp. Actually I found a camera bag, over the shoulder for mirrorless that holds the camera and lens read to pull out along with the zoom 14 - 150 in the 3rd upright slot. Also carry a second battery and the charger. The oly with the 12-40 is also excellent indoors with perhaps some post processing. The Image Stabilization, as you know, is phenomenal so I don't travel with a tripod anymore.

Chances are excellent that the amount of responses to your questions will be overwhelming. I hope you will not get confused.
I own what you have selected as number 1 choice and I tell you that the combo has done very well for me. El cheapo is a great lens for a little money. I have excellent shots made with it.
I recently added the Panasonic 7-14 f4 and there is practically no assignment I could not cope with. The Panasonic is also a very sharp lens.

I am trying to eliminate the need to swap lenses while sightseeing :)
