I believe his post was intended as a heads-up for anyone who wished to be present for their 9 AM departure. Thanks would be more appropriate then ridicule. Wish I could be there myself. Thanks!
Saw the French team this past weekend with the USAF thunderbirds at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery Alabama. They were great.
They were at the Reno UNLIMITED Air Races 2 years ago. They're excellent, the planes look like toys next to the current USAF fighters and the vintage WWII planes. They put on a great show, and for the ladies, I was told they're pretty good eye candy.

There was no ridicule there, just good humor. That's part of the reason we have so many arguments. A member takes a friendly jab at someone else (even a good friend) and everyone jumps on the war wagon.

The OP posted a topic as a heads-up for interested members and was ridiculed for it. That's one of the reasons we have so many arguments. I simply pointed out that he was due some thanks for his efforts. No war wagon involved. I've posted in jest and had it done to me. It can be good fun, but I stand by my belief that an effort to be helpful deserves a bit of thanks.
