Do you have any other pictures? It's hard to judge the size. It helps to see more of the plant.

Thanks to you guys, my brain is now filled with more useless information... and I will be the hit of a party when I tell them that the Pineapple you just ate is a Bromeliaceae and then correct their pronunciation!! when they try to repeat the word.

Sally, did you know.... "The Bromeliaceae are a family of monocot flowering plants of 51 genera and around 3475 known species native mainly to the tropical Americas, with a few species found in the American subtropics and one in tropical west Africa, Pitcairnia feliciana. Wikipedia
Scientific name: Bromeliaceae
Higher classification: Poales
Rank: Family
Did you know: Pineapples and Spanish moss are both kinds of bromeliads.

PS: I like the photo and the wisp of more of the bromeliads in the dark surroundings. Hay, those plants are expensive!! Except for the spanish moss hanging all over the trees here in Tampa.

Looks like the (upper) portion of a Bromeliad. They are most likely an indoor house plant.
