1. Yes - Spyderco Delica
2. Yes - Very!
3. Smith's diamond hone, kept on the counter next to my stove. Every time I pull out my chef's knife to work on dinner, I run the chef's knife, my general purpose 4" filleting knife and my pocket knife 4 quick strokes each, both sides over the hone. I never have to wonder if I need to sharpen any of them.
I always carry two knives, a Gerber Applegate/Fairbairn and a Buck stockman. I also carry a .38 snubby in an ankle holster.
I keep the knives sharp with a fine stone and a hone. I keep the gun sharp with +P hollow points.
No. This one. It's also an Extreme Ops label.

Carried a knife ever since I was a kid. Use a wet stone for sharpening.
Swiss Army Tinker usually sharp enough to shave with, sharpened with diamond hone.
High quality leatherman multi tool. If you buy a good one the steel on the blde is good and holds an edge. I like having the "extra" tools in the leatherman. I use oil stones. start with an 800 grit and finish on 2000 grit, I sharpen my wood chisels the same way. You can shave with it when I am done.
I always carry at least one knife. Usually a more rugged one that while sharp, usually won't shave, and then a finer knife that will shave. Which one depends on plan of the day, dress, destinations, and just how I feel -- I have acquired dozens over the past half century...

Wood handled Opinel made in France. Cheap, unique locking system, Steel sharp edge-holding blade. Similar handles, but different blade length fitting for the neighborhood you live in. Considering the last few months of political disaster here in the US, I am ordering a longer blade.

1) Yes, usually spyderco, buck or swiss army depending on the place, need or threat level...........
2) Always sharp to the max
3) Best small sharpener I've ever found/used. "Smith's" that has both a carbide and ceramic V slot and a diamond impregnated (I think)
marlin spike for serrated blades. It measures 3 x 1 x 3/8 inches and I bought mine at local Ace Hardware store for about $10.....

I have carried a knife most of my life. Nowadays it is a tactical folder that I can open one handed and I'm am using it daily to open mail, cut foods, etc. There is at least one man alive today because I carry a sharp knife and had to cut his seat belt to remove him from his crashed and burning car! I keep it sharp using a Spyderco ceramic sharpener as a dull knife is just about useless.
I also have the Spyderco ceramic sharpeners, but the cheaper ceramic V (see pic above this post) that they sell at Walmart works quite well too.
Always carry a knife sharpen with Work sharp or Spyderco sharpmaker sticks. A dull cutting tool is dangerous.
I had my first knife from my grandfather. He taught me how to use it,sharpen it and introduced me whittling. and then him and I would sit on the front porch after Sunday supper and carve away. Great memories. Anyone remember playing the game "baseball" with a double blade knife?
We used to have a wooden landing and sued to play for hours. Any youngster with a knife now would be arrested. Kids just cant be kids anymore. I was introduced to my first BB gun at 12. Dont think that is allowed now.
I know this is a camera site./ But I am a knife collector also and I see some of you have some age like me. If you have any Old knives 1900's in a cigar box on a shelf, I might be interested in purchasing. Winchesters, Skagels, Remington's, Case, pocket or hunting type etc. I had an Original Randall fighting knife Ivory handle, with me Korea on. I paid a huge $100.00. then 1950's It was stolen some years ago. It would be worth $6,000 plus today. Just asking.

I had to go through one those "empty your pockets" check points the other day. When I got to the third knife, it was suggested I return to my car and came back and start over. Remember what the pros who carry these types of items of necessity say, "Two is one, and one is none." Be safe out there.
