Love the compositions of #2 and #3. How long did you have to wait for just the right humans to be in just the right positions?

Thanks Linda !!! I didn't have to wait very long at all. The first one I saw him walking up the sidewalk and I quickly pulled over to the curb and waited a few seconds for him. The last two were within a few feet of each other and happened within a couple of minutes between the two. I just happen to be in the right place on a busy holiday morning.

Interesting images, Dave. Gets the point across about a very foggy day without losing the message in the mist. Guess I liked the third image particularly because of the repeating lines of the bridge. What's that song about "Kentucky rain"?

Very nice shots! That last one reminds me of photos taken around 1900.

Thank you CathyAnn !!! I can see where the last photo would give you a resemblance of that time era. http://www.cincinnati-transit.net/ln.html

The bicycled on the bridge is very striking image. Converging arches is quite dynamic.

Composition of #2 is a knockout!

And also in #3 with the runners approaching, having started waaaay back at the vanishing point of the whole linear perspective!

Thanks for commenting, sorry it has taken so long to respond to your comments Dave. Foggy mornings are a rare occurrence around here, and I like to take advantage of the opportunity when I can. I appreciate your comments and thoughts.

This is the first I've seen of this part of the UHH. Interesting section.
As for your pictures as I see it.

First impression of #1 was What is this? I thought you were showing us something you did to your Grandfathers picture. So if your intended look is 1930 ish you hit right on. If it weren't for the Camaro I would have been sure it was of that 1930 era.

#2 is just as I would have imagined a cool morning misty stroll in one of our norther states. Color is spot on. Perfect shot that take me right myself right there. Exactly what a photograph is supposed to do.

#3 I have never seen that color in a morning fog. Therefore I think it misses the mark. Sorry just to blue for me.

I am a big fan of Dave Chinn. I think he is one of the outstanding photographers, has suburb Post Production skills and a very creative mind. This is just one more example of his many different abilities to draw us to him.

Yea Jim, this section has been around a little over a year. Not much activity here lately though.

That Camaro is a dead giveaway. From time to time I like to mix up color tones just to see what kinda responses I get to determine if I should use a particular tone again in the future. Although, in order for me to use something out of my norm there has to be some attraction to it from me to begin with. Some I like more than others, but if I totally hate the tone I will no way use it. I just like to experiment with various tones and knowing they don't always work, so thats something I have to consider as well. I appreciate you stopping by here and commenting. I also appreciate the huge compliment.
