Hi ,

In short, I would like to make a gift for my friend and print out one of the photos I took this year.
I am struggling to go for full color or b&w. After going the round with friends to see what works best, I am more confused.
So I am hoping I can soon decide and therefore I'm asking for your opinion as well.

I like both pictures, just not sure what would work best for a A2-size print. To begin with, I was set to use the last picture in b&w. A couple of friends of mine had too much fun and planted the image of " uncle Fester" (Adams Family) in my head and now I cant get it out. Before they commented, for me this one was a winner , cause I like his big eyes looking straight at me, lips gesture that resembles something like he has a thing or two to tell me. Overall I like his bossy attitude, and after my opinion this one would work best on the wall in b&w.

The first one is more of a "Boyz-in-da-hood" type. And like it a lot as well, but I feel it does not look as appealing as the other one on the wall.

Looking forward to hear your thoughts
in advance, thank you for viewing.

Cheers from Oslo
Catalin

The child looks worried in the first two and is far too pale in the fourth. . I asked my wife, and her response was "Oh good Lord not the third.

The fourth is quite good.

In my judgement, b&w images have limited visual appeal ... of all the images, the very first one looks best.

Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and the New Year

Much, Much prefer the color with hood. The other one looks like he is taking a selfie with out stretched arm. Also, in my opinion I would also edit out the bruise or whatever on his forehead.

For me, definitely one of the color photos and I like #1 a tiny bit better.

Thank you Hj,
Looks like the hood is getting more attention, and thank you for commenting the bruise. I shall take a quick go in LR to remove it.

Best of luck and Merry Christmas

Well , it seems most likes here also go in the direction for the first one.

I'm starting to see the light :)
Thank you very much so far. As the comments and opinions arrived I now lean more onto the first one in color.
In other words, I think there is something wrong with me, I liked "Fester" to begin with. :D , but it's important for me the parents like it and that's the most difficult part for me all the time. What I like is not necessary liked by others.
