Well layering has been a pet project for quite awhile now and today I use LR, on1 and OloneoHDRengine. Have spent hours playing around as it get addicting.

On this series I painted in the sky on the left and then saved it and in the second one I painted in the sky on the right but only because by saving the first one if I blew the second one I would not have had to start brand new again......More tp come, hopefully a few mind benders

Seeing as everyone is wearing a poppy in their lapel these day, the theme of remembrance came easily to my mind, as Veterans Day (in the U.S.) and Remembrance Day ( Canada) will be celebrated this week in both of our countries. I had taken a picture of a big gun , (artillery) at CFB Gagetown a couple of weeks ago and I remembered the poppies that grow in our garden each spring, so I decided to attempt to create a layered picture of both the gun and a poppy.
