Lovely photos, beautiful hats and clothes. When I went last year (only as a tourist) we went to Lima, Cusco and Machu Picchu. Fabulous country with interesting history. How wonderful to go with more purpose.

Agree with all you said. A great country to visit!

Great Photo's. Great Mission. Helps eliminate couching.

Thanks. They have so little, but complain so infrequently, it creates a hopeful view of humanity.

Thanks. Smiling faces and colorful clothes go a long way to creating acceptable photos.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful series. It's so nice to hear about others are being helped. Good vision (with or without correction) is something we often take for granted.

Thanks. Agree on vision...I cringe to imagine it's loss...& it does occur...more often in 3rd world countries. A free cataract surgery for the needy (costs us $30.00 to provide) can change one from virtual blindness to at least 20/40 vision over night. That's a great outcome!

Great pictures of beautiful people. A lot of memories from when I was a young surveyor working in the highlands of the Andes. Yes, you are there at 15000 feet and more sometimes. Cold, dry air and short of oxygen also. After a while you get adapted so...Thanks for your posting.

Thanks for the note. At elevation, coca leaves or tea were common...and work. Inhaling at 15,000 ft left a lot to be desired...lungs expand, but O2 seemed to be in short supply. Would hate to run a marathon up there.

We were in the Sacred Valley last month. You have some great shots. Very typical the chapped cheeks and colorful ponchos

Thanks. I think we who have had the chance to visit this area have to count ourselves very lucky.
