A shot of some of the jams and jelly's my wife makes to sell at the local farmer's market. She currently makes blueberry, peach, strawberry, Hatch chili and mango chutney.

Nice shots. My mom used to put up grape jelly . We had large grape arbor in out back yard.

Will take a jar of raspberry if you've got it. Great light show!

In my youth in Pennsylvania most households did a lot of canning - jams, jellies, fruits, vegetables, but my favorite thing was home made dandelion wine (which I still like, if I can find a farmer who still does that).

Thanks... it's a bit of work but worth the effort.

The city of Coppell, TX built the facility last year. It's pretty nice. My wife usually does pretty well.

Seems like lots of young folks are 're-discovering' canning these days!

Love the lighting. I miss canning - was labor intensive, but so satisfying. Don't mean to sound stupid, but what is Hatch Chili - I have never heard of it.

What is Hatch chili? Please pardon the culinary ignorance of a New Englander, but I've never heard of it before.
